High quality wool rugs are pet and kid friendly. The ‘machine washable’ rug industry is build on the lie that the og rugs are not easy to clean. (and honestly who the f has a washing machine that big?!).
Vintage rugs are built to last. They already have and they will continue to look baller as hell for decades to come.
What I look for in a vintage rug…
I am drawn to bold colors and wild designs that make you stop in your tracks. I’m talkin’ hot pink, electric blue, and a motif that’s like a Where’s Waldo of wild animals. I love some good wear marks but I do have high standards for the condition of rugs I source…like if that shit stanks it’s not making my website.
