Vintage Anatolian Turkish Rug
A soft salmon-pink background holds a cream medallion with a deep blue center, packed with little flowers in red, olive, and blush. Anchor-shaped pendants hang off the top and bottom, and the edges step out in sawtooth lines. Anatolian village weavers used these anchor and hook shapes for generations, and they kept the medallion bold so it reads clearly from across the room. Navy corners step in from each side, filled with tiny flowers on thin stems, which makes the whole thing feel like a garden. The border has olive-gold panels with rosettes and little tree shapes, and the pile is still thick and plush.
