No. 1866 | 8'4 x 3'0

Vintage Pictorial Kurdish Turkish Runner

Village weavers sometimes wove scenes from real life instead of patterns, and a rider surrounded by attendants like this is often read as a bride heading to her wedding. The faces, hands, and outfits are all drawn a little differently, so each figure has its own personality. A narrow border of pink and cream zigzags runs down the sides, and the wool is glossy with thick, chunky knots and lots of warm color shifts in the orange.

Size: 8'4 x 3'0
