Vintage Anatolian Turkish Runner

This runner has a soft apricot background that drifts into dusty pink and lavender in places, with a few thin streaks of raspberry red running through it. Three big lime-green medallions run down the middle, linked like a chain. Each one has a little ivory center and is outlined in gray-blue. The color shifts come from wool dyed in small batches, so every band is a slightly different shade. Village weavers often just used whatever they had on hand, and that’s a big part of the charm here. Each end has a stepped ivory panel with streaky blue lines and rust, mustard, and sage details, and the pile is worn low and soft, so it’s ready for a hallway.
