Vintage Tabriz Persian Rug
Instead of one big medallion, this rug repeats its design across the whole rust-red background. Navy branches link up into a loose grid of octagons, each filled with little flowers in pink, light blue, and cream, with small square medallions at the joints. Tabriz has been a major weaving city for centuries, and its workshops often took bold Heriz-style geometry from the nearby villages and drew it a bit finer and tidier, which is what you see here. The navy border has rosettes and blocky medallions, with cream stripes on either side. The pile is full and soft, and the colors are crisp, so it looks great in a big room.
Size: 9'8 x 7'0
Material: Wool pile on cotton foundation
All rugs have been professionally cleaned and restored. Age related wear and patina are considered normal. Items may not be perfectly straight or rectangle.
Rugs have been photographed in moderate to bright natural light. Colors may vary depending on the amount of light in your space or due to your phone/screen settings.
Vacuum on low with the brush roller off. Spot clean with warm water and mild soap when life happens. Professional clean as needed.
