Vintage Malayer Persian Rug

Apricot fills the field, packed with tiny florals around a nested diamond medallion in pale blue with a navy core. The Malayer area sits between the Hamadan villages and the finer Sarouk workshops near Arak, and this rug shows both: a village structure with more refined floral detail. Navy corners with rosettes echo a deep navy main border, which carries a floral meander between ivory guard stripes.
