Vintage Anatolian Yastik Turkish Rug
Long before they were bath mats and bedside rugs, yastiks were cushions. Village weavers across Central Anatolia made them for their own homes, often from wool left over from bigger projects, so each one carries a whole rug's worth of design in a couple of square feet. The motifs are old and meaningful: ram's horns for strength, latchhooks for protection, and medallions built outward row by row. Decades of use have softened the colors and pile into something no new rug can fake.

All rugs have been professionally cleaned and restored. Age related wear and patina are considered normal. Items may not be perfectly straight or rectangle.
