Vintage Kerman Persian Rug
A soft field of warm brown and olive carries a dense, curvilinear floral lattice — scrolling vines, palmettes, and small blossoms in dusty rose, teal, and ivory — centered on a lobed medallion in matching tones. This kind of fine, all-over floral coverage with refined curvilinear drawing is the hallmark of Kerman's workshop tradition, distinct from the bolder geometric village weavings found further north. The multi-band border echoes the same floral vine motif, keeping the palette cohesive edge to edge. Wear is even throughout, and the muted, slightly faded colorway has a soft, lived-in quality typical of a piece with real age on it.
Size: 11'1 x 3'4.5
Material: Wool pile on cotton foundation
All rugs have been professionally cleaned and restored. Age related wear and patina are considered normal. Items may not be perfectly straight or rectangle.
Rugs have been photographed in moderate to bright natural light. Colors may vary depending on the amount of light in your space or due to your phone/screen settings.
Vacuum on low with the brush roller off. Spot clean with warm water and mild soap when life happens. Professional clean as needed.
