Vintage Anatolian Turkish Runner

A deep aubergine field runs the length of this piece, carrying a repeating column of elongated hexagonal medallions in mustard-gold and slate-blue — those sawtooth-edged medallions strung end to end are a classic Anatolian village runner layout, letting weavers repeat a single strong form down a long, narrow format. Small scattered motifs and geometric fillers fill the deep purple ground between medallions without crowding the main pattern. The wide border shifts between mustard and slate-blue bands, each carrying its own small geometric repeat, giving the frame real visual movement of its own.
